Incubation in ComoNExT is an inclusive and structured way of evaluating, tutoring and developing of entrepreneurial ideas in a context that facilitates contact with specialist skills and in partnership with small and medium enterprises characterized by strong innovation in a place that facilitates relationships and business. ComoNExT is an incubator certified by MISE (MInistero dello Sviluppo Economico), the Ministry of Economic Development.
Each idea or incubated startup is led by a tutor in charge of helping them to develop and monitor their business.
The main tutorship areas as focused in the business plan include: management orientation, public and private finance opportunities/calls analysis, technology applications support, prototyping, research for partners (technical and technological, suppliers, big companies), brands and patents rating, marketing and communication, venture capital research, pitching training.
Beyond single support, ComoNExT facilitates network relationships with companies inside and outside the Hub, universities and research centers.
The Innovation Hub offers initiatives and workshops on dissemination of technical issues, business regulations, funding opportunities, as well as on themes proposed directly by the hub’s companies.
At the end of the incubation period, startups are welcome to maintain their business at ComoNExT
The minimum reserveable physical unit is an open space station, accessible h24 every day of the year. Reception, meeting rooms, training rooms, auditorium, coffeeshop, car park complete the spaces of the incubator.
Cleaning and security services are included.
Who Can Join the Incubator
Future entrepreneurs, students, professionals, university and company spin-offs, startups (less than 12 months).
Innovation in product or service is the distinctive characteristic which enables to apply to the incubation call, or however to present the idea to the incubator staff.
How To Access
- Applying to the call “Dall’Idea all’Impresa” promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Como. It is a yearly call and it is published on Chamber of Commerce and ComoNExT’s website. The candidates who win the call (max 5) will be admitted to the 12 months incubation program and they will receive a voucher to afford costs for space and tutorship.
- Submitting to firstname.lastname@example.org the presentation of the idea according to the format suggested by ComoNExT, asking for a first evaluation meeting. The meeting aims to give the proposer an initial orientation on the eligibility for the incubation call or on different opportunities available to develop the business idea.
