SEB CoVE — Smart Electricity for Buildings

SEB CoVE – Smart Electricity for Buildings – Centres of Vocational Excellence is a transnational collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening vocational education and training (VET) in the field of Low Voltage green and smart electrical installations in buildings.

Obiettivo

The project establishes regional Centres of Vocational Excellence that integrate VET providers, industry, research institutions and public authorities to support both technological and practice-based innovation. By developing innovative training programmes and micro-credentials aligned with EQF 4–6, SEB CoVE contributes to upskilling and reskilling professionals in smart and energy-efficient building technologies.

Through pilot actions implemented in partner regions, the Alliance tests and refines its results, with the ambition of becoming world-class reference points for excellence in education and training aligned with Europe’s green and digital transition.

Attività di NExT

ComoNExT contributes to SEB CoVE by supporting the skills needs analysis and the design of training modules for the Smart Electricity for Buildings sector. It contributes to the identification of emerging competence gaps and to the development of professional profiles (EQF 3–8) and modular curricula aligned with European VET standards.

Through its ecosystem perspective and strong links with enterprises, ComoNExT ensures that training content remains closely aligned with labour market needs and real technological challenges in the smart building domain.
